Etihad Airways– The national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) just announced the release of its first NFT collection known as the “EY-ZERO1” NFT.
Features of the Etihad EY-ZERO1 NFT Collection
The “EY-ZERO1” NFT collection features ten 3D aircraft models with a high level of precision. Each of the aircraft models exhibits a distinct Etihad Boeing 787 Dreamliner livery.
The NFT collection also features a Green liner-themed aircraft, Etihad’s Manchester City FC, and more.
Only about 2,003 limited editions of the NFT collections are available. This signifies the year that Etihad Airways came into existence.
The auctioning of the NFT collection will take place on the 21st of July 2022 at 6 pm (UAE Time).
According to the Group Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Aviation Group, Tony Douglas Etihad Airways is excited to launch its first NFT collection “EYZERO1”.
He said that the NFT collectible will not just offer travelers, collectors, and aviation enthusiasts a unique work of art. However, it provides real-world travel and lifestyle benefits to Etihad’s airways.
The Group Chief Executive Officer also added that NFTs are revolutionizing the economy and Etihad is proud to be part of the first airlines to explore the space and provide utility for customers.
Benefits of Owning the Etihad EY-ZERO1 NFT
There are a lot of benefits available for those that own the Etihad NFT. First, the buyers of the Etihad NFT will have automatic access to the Etihad Guest Silver Tier membership for one year.
The NFT holders will also have access to upcoming NFT drops from Etihad as well as the Metaverse products that the company has included as part of its web3 plans.
Also, ten NFT holders will be lucky to win a complimentary flight ticket with Etihad Airways.
Etihad also plans to give NFTs to 20 people who will pre-register using the link etihad.com/zero1 by the 16th of July. The price per NFT will be $349 including the tax on etihad.arcube.io.
The seven million loyalty program members can also purchase their NFTs through the Etihad Guest Reward Shop by redeeming their Etihad Guest Miles for an NFT.
