CryptoPunk Marketplace performance
Much is yet unsaid over the popular NFT collection, CryptoPunk, holding sway at the top of the performance chart in the marketplace on back to back trading days. CryptoPunk, which came into top of the log by displacing long-term standing giants, Bored Ape Yacht Club. The collection maintained a dominant position , despite doing lesser sales as compared to the previous days.
Furthermore, looking at the NFT the chart, CryptoPunk diss a total of $2.7 million in terms of sales in the past 24 hours. It had a total of 27 transactions, 24 of which were NFTs in its collections bought. However, what was said looks concerning is that the collection had a decline in sales, with a negative 37% sales volume as compared to sales from yesterday.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club on its own recorded another steady decline, as it recorded a negative of 34% in sales volume with respect to yesterday’s sales volume, totaling about $1.9 million in total sales, in 18 transactions, of which 15 were generated from works bought.
Other Collections performing well in the market
However, a spark in the market was observed, as Weirdos, an NFT collection of hand-drawn, nostalgic and adult-themed NFTs – unique digital collectibles living on the Ethereum blockchain, did a whooping 23,000% rise in 24 hours, the biggest performer of the 250 top performing collections.
This feat by Weirdo was observed as it did a total of $261,000 in total sales volume, after recording about 63 transactions, an average of $4100 per collection.
