In what may seem like a restoration of faith in the crypto market, Ethereum protocol-based NFTs have bounced back amidst the recovery of the crypto market, to surpass popular blockchains like Solana, Flow, and Ronin in transaction and sales volume.
According to data obtained from cryptoslam, despite the lower cost of transaction charges by other blockchain protocols, Ethereum-based collections recorded a total of 45,502 transactions beating its closest rival, Solana (44,147), to the second position by a 1,355 difference in transactional volume, while Flow remained at 24,042.
Market Sales Performance, Ethereum-based NFTs dominates
While Ethereum-based NFT collections continue to dominate the log of performance by sales volume, a surprising performance by Ledger Market Pass stunned collectors as it recorded sales of $5.72 million in 11,123 transactions, beating popular collection the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) to a distant second.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club, which did a total of $1.9 million in transactional volume to stay second, ranked above Sorare Football ($1.23 million) and Mooncatz ($1.16 million) in third and fourth positions respectively.
However, despite the huge transactional volume recorded by the Ledger Market Pass, CryptoPunk 785 stayed on the log as the costliest NFT sold, as it sold for $169,840, followed by the BAYC SN #3694 which sold at $161,372.
In all, the NFT market saw a 17.74% increase in the past 24 hours as daily transaction volume ended at $25.3 million, while fans token saw a 25.9% decline, aggregating $78.7 million in total sales volume.
