Goblintown founders doxxed
Goblintown, an NFT collection that took the NFT space by storm made a massive revelation recently. In an interesting turn of events, the erstwhile anonymous creators made their identity known recently. But maintained the initial stance that the project would continue without a roadmap, utility and Discord server. A video released by the Goblintown Twitter handle revealed that the creators of the NFT collection was a Web3 outfit known as Truth Labs. Truth labs, who are also linked to projects such as Illuminating and The 187, announced a special offer for pre existing communities.
The 1000 Goblins mint
The Goblintown team clarified in the video why 1000 Goblins were set aside in the initial mint. According to them, they were reserved as a reward for those who had been with the prior to the Goblintown mint.
Those included in the reservation were – The illuminatiNFT and the 187 communities, the illuminati DAO, some who helped along the way, and the truth labs team.
Is the team going to release these 1000 Goblins into the market at once? The team said the Goblins will be released in batches. And also announced a sharing formula amongst the proposed parties.
The stated that Illuminati DAO will mint 50 Goblins. While, the team and others who made the project possible will get 50.
The iilluminati and 187 communities will share the remaining 900 via a raffle.
However, as they promised, they will not dump the 1000 apes in the market at once. But the plan is to release the NFTs gradually. According to the the team, they will release the NFTs at a rate of 5 Goblins per day for 6 months.
The Goblintown floor price has not fared well after following the doxxing of the founders. This is despite the belief that transparent projects attract more trust from investors.
