American comedian and actor, Kevin Hart is exploring the metaverse by releasing an NFT collection based on an upcoming movie about his life. The show is titled”Confessions From the Hart,“. And the 30-minute 3D animated anthology chronicles Hart’s ups and downs in the comedy and film industries. And it will premiere on the Roku channel on July 6.
Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat to drop 10,000 NFTs
After the premiere, on July 7, Hart’s media company, Hartbeat, will release a collection of 10,000 NFTs with his name. And each NFT will have a 3D, PFP-style image of a strange Kevin Hart character. Furthermore, the NFTs will also drop on Hart’s website Kevin Hart Nation. And each one will cost $65 to mint.
In addition to their creative and artistic 3D renderings, the NFTs will also give their owners exclusive access to content from the anthology, found in the Kevin Hart Nation Metaverse Screening Room. The Metaverse Screening Room is a Web3 space hosted by Kevin Hart Nation in partnership with Moonwalk and company Virtua.
Other perks of ownership include access to an exclusive Discord channel and special member benefits from the Kevin Hart Nation. The special member benefits such as extra content and tickets to Hart’s upcoming comedy tour.
Kevin Hart aims to bring humor to the NFT and Web3 space
Hart said this about the project, which is probably the first of many Hartbeat Media metaverse activations:
