Nickelodeon’s new NFT drop– Rugrat and Hey Arnold! will be available to the public from the 19th of July through Nickelodeon.xyz. marketplace powered by RECUR and branded by paramount.

There will be a total of 10,000 NFT packs at the price of $50 per pack. Each pack will contain a specific 1/1  PFP (Profile Picture) from the characters of Rugrats and Hey Arnold!

Each of the TV shows has six characters which gives a total of 12 characters, some of them are Pickle, Arnold short man, Helga G, Tommy, and others.

Nick fans can also trade their Nickelodeon NFTs for Slime on the 26th of July. This will give them access to the Mashup characters from the 29th of July.

RECUR and Paramount partner with Steve Aoki to Introduce New Mashup Characters

Steve Aoki is an avid member of the NFT community and a DJ nominee for the Grammy awards.

RECUR and Paramount have joined forces with Steve Aoki to introduce the New Mashup NFT characters.

In line with the introduction of new Mashup characters, Steve Aoki has developed a remix from the original version of the Rugrats and Hey Arnold! theme song.

The new track released will display the Nickelodeon Mashup NFT characters through a music video.

The neon and technicolor style of the music video will create a sense of nostalgia, bringing back the spirit of the 90s to Nick fans.

The Nickelodeon Mashup characters are new characters that originate from the names and traits of the real characters.

For instance, Tolga is a Mashup character that comes from a part of the name, Tommy Pickles, and a part of Helga Patacki.

Steve Aoki commented on the new NFT collection saying that he is grateful to be teaming up with RECUR and paramount to bring the old shows to life in the NFT space.

He also said that he cannot wait to see the road map come back to life.

Conclusion

RECUR and Paramount have just taken a huge step to bring these old characters back to life.

The NFT space has allowed these characters to be alive again to influence a whole new audience.
