Polium, a web 3 company that builds games and affiliate infrastructure is launching a gaming console that will support multiple blockchains and NFT.
How the Polium NFT Journey began
According to Polium, they will work with eight blockchains and have their own digital wallet, token, and marketplace. A prototype will be ready in a few months.
The release date for the Polium One console is the 3rd quarter of 2024. It will support the Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, BNB Chain, ImmutableX, Harmony, EOS, and WAX blockchains.
Currently, the console will have a 4K Ultra HD resolution and 120 frames per second. Polium says that it will build the console’s hardware and software with the help of its community. They also promised that it will have a working prototype a few months from now.
The console will also have its own multichain cryptocurrency wallet, and the controller will have a wallet button to make it easier for users to trade. A fingerprint scanner on the controller will make sure that transactions from the console are safe and real.
How will Investors participate on Launch day
The price of the console is still unknown, but Polium plans to make a Polium-Pass-NFT that will let people claim a console on the day of its release. Pass-NFT holders will get another NFT, which can be staked for a PLAY token in the future. The PLAY token is the console’s native token for making purchases on its marketplace app.
Polium plans to give away 10,000 consoles to Polium Pass holders and partners in Q3 of 2024. In Q3 2025, more consoles will be made for the general public. It wants to sell more than 1 million units.
Most investors have the opinion that the company’s logo looks too much like that of another popular game console, the Nintendo GameCube. Polium said it didn’t copy the logo and is already making a new one “that is original.”
